CRS - The Certified Residential Specialist (CRS) is the highest Designation awarded to sales associates in the residential sales field.  CRS training gives you in-depth knowledge about business planning, negotiating and closing smoother transactions, working in the buyers’ and sellers’ best interest and building a referral business. CRS Designees have completed advanced training in residential real estate and have a proven track record of sales transactions required to earn the CRS Designation. They are consummate professionals.

ABR - The Accredited Buyer’s Representative (ABR®) designation is the benchmark of excellence in buyer representation. This coveted designation is awarded by the Real Estate Buyer’s Agent Council (REBAC), an affiliate of the National Association of REALTORS®, to real estate practitioners who meet the specified educational and practical experience criteria.

GRI - The Graduate REALTOR® Institute (GRI) symbol is the mark of a real estate professional who has made the commitment to provide a high level of professional services by securing a strong educational foundation. REALTORS® with the GRI designation are highly trained in many areas of real estate to better serve and protect their clients. Real estate transactions have become increasingly complicated. So it's more important than ever that you work with an agent who has a keen understanding of the real estate business. The GRI program has helped the best and the brightest in the industry achieve that level of understanding.

CREO – The Certified REO Specialist designation is earned by real estate professionals who have met specific educational criteria regarding the roles and stages of the REO/Foreclosure sales transaction and the theory and skills necessary to work with REO, Banks and other lending institutions owning property in the State of Florida.

ASP – An Accredited Staging Professional real estate agent or broker is a true professional trained under strict guidelines using proven Staging techniques developed for over 30 years. When you bring your home on the market and prepare your house for sale always hire an ASP because they are the true leaders in the Home Staging and Real Estate Industries.

ePRO - An e-PRO is a REALTOR® who has successfully completed the e-PRO training program for real estate professionals endorsed by the National Association of REALTORS®. The e-PRO Internet Professional belongs to a special community of highly skilled and continuously trained real estate professionals who collaborate. There are several benefits of working with a certified Internet professional.

Prior to establishing Mallar & Associates, Inc. in 2005, Elias R. Mallar worked as a Broker-Associate for Esslinger, Wooten, Maxwell, Inc.’s Coral Gables office.  Prior to his experience at Esslinger, Wooten, Maxwell, Elias R. Mallar worked as a Broker-Associate for The Keyes Company Realtors’ Pinecrest office.

Elias R. Mallar graduated with Cum Laude honors from Cornell University, Ithaca, NY in 1995 with a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering.  Prior to his career in real estate, Elias R. Mallar had a career as a Senior Mechanical Engineer & Designer for Motorola, Inc. in Ft. Lauderdale, FL.

Elias R. Mallar was born in Cuba in 1973 and has lived in Miami since 1980.  He is happily married and has 2 children.  Elias is naturally fluent in both English and Spanish, and he looks forward to serving your real estate needs with distinction.
